Home – School communication is maintained between parents and school through a variety of means including:

  • Letters
  • Emails
  • WhatsApp
  • School Journals
  • Phone-Calls
  • Facebook
  • Meetings
  • Written Reports
  • Parent Information Evenings

Effective communication between school and home can develop the environment to help the child develop its potential to the full.  Parents are urged to maintain home-school links by checking the homework journal for notes or the schoolbag for letters and to be actively involved in their child’s education.

An opportunity to discuss your child’s progress is given each year at the Parent Teacher meeting.  These meetings usually take place in November.

If you wish to meet with your child’s teacher at any time please make an appointment in advance. This can be done by writing a note in your child’s journal or phoning the office.

Formal written reports with standardised test results are sent out at the end of the June.
